(WINDSOR, ON) – The 58th Grammys was a big success this year, with many people eagerly tuning in to see their fave star. However, as usual, they were not void of controversy or drama, shall we say.

Good ol’ Kanye West once again could not resist the temptation to keep the name Taylor Swift off of his lips. The rapper stated that he ought to go to have sex with Swift since he was the one who made her famous.

Well, naturally, there was an immediate rebuttal by Swift, who warned others will try to claim credit for your success, a swipe at West. Kanye in reply claims he and the country/pop star had an hour conversation and the whole thing was her idea. Despite this comment by West, Swift’s manager suggested West of being misogynist.

Run DMC took home the lifetime achievement award for their contribution to hip hop music over the decades.

Recognition was given to San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, and Man of the Year, Anquan Boldin. Joining him on stage was athlete Von Miller.

Well, let’s talk men’s fashion.

OK, our eyes first set upon LL Cool J, who wore a crowd pleaser by choosing a triple black tuxedo with velvet accents and a velvet hat.

Winner of his tenth Grammy award, John Legend, who gave a tribute performance to Lionel Richie, opted for a triple black suit look as well, accessorizing with black satin tie. Joining him with the same look was actor Don Cheadle, who added white rimed sneakers for his attire.

Miguel wore a show stopping look with a textured and printed white and black jacket with black pants. He chose to wear his natural curly hair undercut with well-lined facial hair.

Justin Bieber performed with Skillet in a black and yellow man’s leopard print jacket, accessorized with a black snap-back cap, worn backwards. Great look for his routine.

We also noticed that Bieber is now complimenting his skin tone with bleach blond hair these days, giving a nice break from the usual brown he normally wears.

Carey Underwood has cut her long locks and now wears the asymmetric bob with long layers. Short hair is definitely the current trend for the ladies. Many beachy wave and straight bobs in particular worn at the Grammys by stars such as Ellie Goulding, Carey Underwood, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Adele, and many others.

The bob is the most popular current hair trend for women at this time, and is said it be following us into the spring and summer of 2016.

Demi Lovato brought down the house with her tribute to Lionel Richie. The spotlight showed pleasure on the face of Richie.

Adele chose a beautifully designed, full length, shimmering black gown for her red carpet look by Givenchy, and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Selena Gomez wore a Calvin Kline navy blue, shimmering, classic floor length gown with dark brown locks to her shoulders.

Taylor Swift wore an Atelier Versace outfit, with midriff on display, and complimented by a bright pink hi-lo leg slit floor length skirt. Very well done.

Another best dressed star was R & B singer Alicia Keys, who wore Azzedine Alaia. The Grammy award winning musician and actress was also named one of Elle’s Women in Music.
