(WINDSOR, ON) – Over the last few years, LiUNA Local 625 has taken a leading role in supporting Bluesfest Windsor, from monetarily to providing volunteers to overseeing the organization and logistics. Now, Bluesfest Windsor has announced a partnership with LiUNA Canada as a major sponsor of the festival.

The event will now be known as LiUNA Bluesfest Windsor Feel the Power Festival.

Proceeds from the 4-day festival are directed to deserving charitable organizations. In 2015, over $17,000 was raised to partially benefit the United Way of Windsor and Essex County. This year’s edition sees Transition to Betterness as the lead charitable benefactor.

The largest non-profit 4-day music festival in southern Ontario kicks off on Thursday, July 14. Tickets are available at the Bluesfest website.
